| 12. FTK-bonding Manufacturing Technology Symposium |
Date: Wednesday 20 January, 2010 |
| News Summary: |
 |
The next meeting FTK-manufacturing technology Bonding takes place on 7 and 8 October 2010 in the "SpOrt Stuttgart" (see www.sportstuttgart.de) instead. What
better venue could be moving to the chosen theme "Light mass" fit as
the sports city of Stuttgart, is known to look back on many successful
events in which the movement is the focus?

To move everything revolves FTK at the next meeting. Decision
makers from all sectors to move in which the masses, be equipped with
the latest findings about the potential use of adhesive bonding joining
technology in the supply chain for the economical lightweight moving
masses. For large voltage also ensures the FTK-junior competition, the 2010 goes into the third round. Against
the backdrop of the increasing importance of raw material and energy
efficiency, not least because of the current difficult economic
environment, particularly in all sectors need to move in which masses
are economic development lightweight fast-forward.
Only
through the consistent economic lightweight, it will succeed in
industries such as automotive and engineering industries, the wind
plant and, not least the sports equipment industry, the significant
remaining resources, and thus save costs. Plays
a central role in this context, the industrial adhesive, without the
use of "light moving masses" would be almost impossible. Application
examples from all relevant sectors, the participants get an overview of
the currently feasible and have a look toward the future with the
economy will not be ignored.
Attention is given to innovative bonding lightweight solutions from the following sectors:
* Automotive
* Aircraft
* Nutzfahrzeugbau
* Mechanical Engineering
* Railway
* Wind Plant
* Sport Industry
* Shipbuilding
Desired
are Vortagsvorschläge about interesting bonding structures, bonding
connections of new materials, practical examples of bonding technology
for integration into production, through bonding damage, studies of
long-term resistance, through exemplary hybrid compounds to quality
assurance. Experts in these fields are invited to their presentation proposals by ^ 8 Submitted

Young talent search
More
exciting meeting point is again the decision of the FTK-be junior
competition, which lies entirely in the hands of the conference
audience. This
contest will be held for the third time and reward young speakers from
industry and academia who have the courage to present themselves with
an adhesive-topic on the meeting. For
the best 5-minute presentation of an arbitrary bonding theme draws the
first prize of 1,500 euro prize for the second best presentation, there
are 1,000 euros and for the third-best 500th
Graduates, on 7 October 2010 the 35th Years
have not exceeded, are invited to apply by a presentation on the theme
"Manufacturing System Bonding" and face a two-step selection process. An independent jury selects already before the meeting to a neutral point assignment system, the eight most interesting work. The
following criteria are evaluated: the representation of the bonding
relationships, relevance to the manufacturing system and the bonding
structure and the structure of the unilateral summaries. At the meeting, will then evaluate the entire audience participants.
FTK-organizer of the meeting on 7 and 8 October
2010 the Fraunhofer IFAM and the editorial board, composed of adhesion
IVK and research associations DVS, DECHEMA Subject Division and
adhesive FOSTA - Research Stahlanwendung.
