The rising demand for adhesives with less environmental impact was a major motivation for the development of new solutions in cooperation with the woodworking industry. Result of a technology transfer from adhesives based on urea-formaldehyde adhesives is the product polyvinylacetatbasierende Rakoll Eco third This adhesive is suitable for most applications in the timber industry for the manufacture of doors, furniture and parquet flooring - and especially for surface lamination of HPL and veneers or papers.

In this formulation based on polyvinyl acetate is dispensed with the use of formaldehyde altogether. Since this is a one-component system, are engaged in no mixing required and the other reduces the adhesive waste. Of further advantage is the low press temperature and the resulting reduced energy costs and a careful processing of materials to be bonded. Moreover, the coating weight is compared to urea-formaldehyde adhesives on basis of low by up to 30%.
