Densolastic VT cold grouting compound for road joints

Product info Densolastic VT Grout:

DENSOLASTIC VT is used i.a. used for the joints in areas that generally have to be sealed in accordance with the Water Resources Act (WHG) or, according to legal regulations and regulations, media-resistant. DENSOLASTIC VT is suitable for use in asphalt surfaces, concrete surfaces and semi-rigid surface layers.

Approval for LAU and HBV systems (contact surfaces concrete, asphalt, semi-rigid cover layers and stainless steel)
A primer for all contact surfaces.
Usability officially proven in busy asphalt areas.

Applications Densolastic VT:

The Densolastic VT joint sealing system consists of a two-component polyurethane-based material. The two components (A + B) are mixed at the construction site in accordance with the predetermined mixing ratio and then introduced either directly from the bucket or from a special Auspresspistole in the joint.
The priming system Densolastic VT Primer is mandatory for use. The potting compound is elastic and self-leveling.
The joint sealant system is resistant to petrol, aviation fuels, fuel oil, diesel, unused engine and gear oils, mineral acids up to 20%, inorganic alkalis, aqueous solutions of inorganic salts as well as biodiesel and AdBlue (35% urea solution in catalysts) according to the DIBt approval principles.

Processing Densolastic VT:

Dimensions of the joints
The dimensions and the distances of the joints are to be determined on the basis of the expected loads and the contact surfaces. In busy areas, the joints must not be filled to the top edge as a rule, otherwise a tire contact or similar. and thus an unacceptable load would be possible. On concrete flanks, an edge chamfer (chamfer) according to the annex of the approval must generally be produced. In these areas, the joint filling height should end approx. 3 - 6 mm below the upper edge of the joint. The width is i.d.R. between 8 mm and 20 mm, the height of joint filling at the contact surfaces concrete, steel and semi-rigid coverings is between 6 mm and 12 mm. The height of the joint filling must always be approximately 0.8-1.0 times the joint width at these contact surfaces.

Processing the grout
Before mixing, the edges of the joints should be covered with a crepe adhesive tape or similar. taped to prevent contamination. The tapes should be removed before curing the material. The components A and B are treated with a special device (for example a Drilling Machine with Mixing Attachment Collomix WK 70) for 4 minutes at a speed of max. 500 rpm (to mix as little air as possible) with each other. The surface temperature of the joint must be at least +5 ° C / 41 ° F, max. +40 ° C (+104 ° F). The temperature must be ≥ 3 ° C (+37.4 ° F) above the dew point. Any rising air bubbles must be removed (for example, by brushing) before the sealant turns solid.
The grout is tack-free and cured after 24 hours. The pot life and curing time are temperature dependent and shorten with increasing temperatures. Until cured, the material must be protected from moisture. During execution, protocols on processing conditions should be kept, especially for environmental protection measures. Before installation is u.a. to check the condition of the flanks. After installation, flank adhesion in particular must be checked regularly.

Storage:

Densolastic VT Tightly sealed in the original container. Avoid overheating above +40 ° C (+104 ° F) and frost on the construction site.
Densolastic VT can be stored under these conditions for at least 9 months from the date of manufacture.

Packaging:

5.00 l (A + B comp.), 210 liters per pallet
