Special instructions:

Before using the adhesive/sealant, the user must ensure that the building materials in the contact area (solid, liquid and gaseous) are compatible with the adhesive/sealant and do not damage or change it (e.g. discolor). For building materials that are subsequently processed in the area of the adhesive/sealant, the user must clarify in advance that their ingredients or vapors cannot lead to any impairment or change (e.g. discoloration) of the adhesive/sealant. If necessary, the user must consult the respective manufacturer of the building materials. For outdoor bonding under the influence of moisture and/or UV radiation, we recommend using our hybrid adhesives such as OTTOCOLL M 500 or OTTOCOLL Allflex. This does not apply to weather-exposed bonding of wood and wood-based materials with subsequent protective coating in accordance with DIN EN 204 D4. Paints, varnishes, plastics and other coating materials must be compatible with the adhesive/sealant. Special processing equipment for double cartridges available. The tools can be cleaned with OTTO Cleaner MP as long as the adhesive has not yet set. Hardened adhesive can only be removed mechanically. Discoloration cannot be ruled out when exposed to UV light. Not suitable for bonding glass, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyamide (PA), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), bituminous, waxy or oily substrates or similar.

Pre-treatment:

The adhesive surfaces must be cleaned and any contaminants such as release agents, preservatives, grease, oil, dust, water, old adhesives/sealants and other substances that impair adhesion must be removed. Cleaning non-porous surfaces: Clean with OTTO Cleaner T (airing time approx. 1 minute) and a clean, lint-free cloth. Cleaning porous surfaces: Clean surfaces mechanically, e.g. with a steel brush or a grinding wheel, to remove loose particles. The adhesive surfaces must be clean, grease-free, dry and stable.

Application instructions:

Apply the adhesive and join the parts together as soon as possible, or within the processing time at the latest. Because of the large number of possible influences during processing and application, the processor must always carry out a trial processing and application. The specific use-by date can be found on the label on the container and must be observed. We recommend storing the adhesives/sealants in the unopened original containers in a dry place (< 60% RH) in a temperature range of + 15° C to + 25° C. If the products are stored and/or transported at higher temperatures/humidity for longer periods of time (several weeks), a reduction in shelf life or a change in material properties cannot be ruled out.

Storage:

Store in unopened packaging in a cool (+5ºC and +25ºC) and dry place. Close opened containers well and use quickly.
