TOK® Band SK bitumen joint tape

Product Info Denso TOK Band SK:

The high-quality bituminous joint tape made of polymer-modified road bitumen, which has very good stretch and adhesion properties. The TOK-Band SK has a self-adhesive layer on one side and can therefore be laid quickly and safely. The TOK-Band SK and the corresponding primer TOK-Primer SK has been tested according to the TL / TP ZTV Fug-StB 01 and fulfills the requirements of these guidelines.
Applications TOK Band SK bitumen joint tape:

The TOK-Band SK is preferably used for the formation of joints in asphalt road construction. It can also be laid on concrete curbs and gutters. Due to the good material properties permanent and tight joints are guaranteed.

Processing:

Once the primer has dried, the joint tape can be laid. Before attaching the joint tape is expediently designed with the release paper facing up. The TOK-Band SK is self-adhesive and therefore does not need to be melted. After the release paper has been removed, the joint tape needs to be attached only with the adhesive layer on the flank and then pressed. According to ZTV Fug-StB 01, joints should be laid on rolled asphalt with a 5 mm strip overhang, so that when rolling the asphalt a "rivet head" is created, which forms an additional seal on the surface and a clean "seal". In Gußasphaltflächen the joint tape is installed flush with the flank. The ZTV Fug-StB 01 stipulates that waterstops must be designed in such a way that they can absorb movements of up to 10%, based on the joint width that occurs during installation. In addition, the width of the joint tape may not be less than 10 mm.

Storage:

Dry and without charge, tempered in winter. Under these conditions the TOK-Band SK can be stored in the original sealed packaging for at least 3 years.

Packaging:

The TOK-Band SK is delivered rolled up in worm form. The screws are supplied (separated by silicone paper) in boxes of dimensions 370mm x 370mm x 160 (144) mm. Each 30 boxes are packed on a Euro pallet (800 x 1.200mm).

Per carton TOK Band SK 0.4l primer SK are included (already included in the price).
