Areas of application of the Sikafloor 390 floor coating made of epoxy resin:

Sikafloor 390 epoxy resin floor coating is a crack-bridging and chemically resistant floor coating for concrete and screed surfaces in catchment areas to protect against water-polluting substances.
Technical wear surface for areas at risk of cracking due to chemical exposure.

Processing instructions:

The substrate must have sufficient load-bearing capacity (compressive strength at least 25 N/mm2). The surface must be even, fine to the touch, firm, dry, free of grease and oil and free of loose and sandy parts. Priming and leveling depending on the type of surface. The tear strength must not be less than 1.5 N/mm2. If the roughness and unevenness is too great, the surface must be leveled by leveling or scratch filling with Sikafloor 156 / Sikafloor 161 or Sikafloor 81 EpoCem. Clean primed surfaces from contamination. Sweep away loose sand. During application and curing, the substrate temperature must be at least + 3°C above the dew point temperature. Protect from condensation. Before and during processing and hardening of liquid plastics, the handling of silicone-containing substances or other reaction-disrupting products in the environment must be prevented.

Stir component A mechanically before mixing. Before processing, carefully combine components A + B in the prescribed mixing ratio. To prevent splashes or even spilling of the liquid, mix the components for a short time at low speed using an infinitely adjustable electric mixer. Then increase the stirring speed to a maximum of 300 rpm for intensive mixing. The mixing time is at least 3 minutes and is only finished when a homogeneous mixture is present. Pour the mixed material into a clean container (repot) and mix briefly again as described above.

Sikafloor-390 is poured onto horizontal surfaces, removed to the desired layer thickness with a double-bladed spatula or notched trowel and intensively deaerated with a spiked roller. For sloping and vertical surfaces, fill in two layers with the addition of adjusting agent T.
