If you want to stick glass because of a repair or just for decorative purposes, you can follow the instructions below for an optimal result.
First of all, it is important to note that not every adhesive is equally suitable for the work involved. There is, for example, special silicone for the construction of aquariums, which you can use very well to professionally glue glass. However, it should be noted that this should be 100% transparent, so that the appearance is not affected afterwards.
If, on the other hand, you want to glue non-visible parts, this point may be irrelevant to you.
It should also be noted that the respective glass adhesives may contain toxic ingredients, which should be avoided especially if you use the adhesive where food is stored.

Glue glass - let's go
Preparation: As so often, the preparations are the alpha and omega. Stick to the glass as well. The areas to be glued must first be cleaned. The points must be free of dust, grease and oil. You can simply mix dishwashing liquid with water and use a household rag to clean the places. Then let it dry well and if possible the areas to be bonded should be warmed to room temperature for optimal adhesion of the glass adhesive.
Glass gluing: Now apply the adhesive in the desired places and press both ends together firmly. Fix the splices additionally, if possible with adhesive tape. The subsequent curing time must be taken from the product data sheet, as it may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Remove excess residues: In the last step, you only have to remove the excess glue left over from the squeezing. For this, it is best to use a cutter knife and carefully cut the glue along the edges.
One more tip: If you remove the fixation after the curing time, you will first strain the splices a little bit to see if the connection really lasts.
